Sex, Lies and the Internet by Helene Fuchs

Check out Helene Fuchs‘ book on online dating, Sex Lies and the Internet. It’s funny, informative and very interesting indeed! Buy your copy from Barnes and Noble :)

In Helene’s words:

I was married for 31 years to a fine, gentle man and I lost him the end of 1998. I was then 58 years old . When I turned 60 my friends convinced me that I was too young (ha) to be alone. I tried the usual dating scene, but at that age it is not usual to see some old lady sitting at the bar, so I turned to the internet.

I joined several dating sites and dated, and/or met about 40 men. This was between the ages of 60 until 62.

I met so many diverse men that I just had to put it in writing. I was guided by a dear friend who was a writer for a newpaper in New York. Every one of these “gentlemen” were different, to say the least.

I describe them in my recently published book: Sex, Lies and the Internet. It is just not a HOW TO book, it covers the two years in my life dealing with some of the silliest men on the face of the earth.  It took several years to find a publisher, however it was published by Kirk House in Jan of 2009.
